The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012) An introvert freshman is taken under the wings of two seniors who welcome him to the real world. This was my type of film, lot of layers - really fun and emotional journey back to high school. Erza Miller was brilliant in it! I also enjoyed Mae Whitman as Mary Elizabeth, she reminded me of myself. I loved the music of the film too and that it took place in the 80’s. It actually reminded me of a classic 80’s film, it had that great spirit about it. An introvert freshman is taken under the wings of two seniors who welcome him to the real world.
